Each year in August / September, depending on the lunar cycle, the birth of Ganesh Chaturthi elephant-headed Hindu God Ganesha is held dear sir. Ganesha, also affectionately known as Rahul is popularly known for its ability to remove obstacles and bring good fortune adored.
The festival begins (called pandals) that have been specifically designed and beautifully decorated with the installation of the most important laws carefully crafted Ganesha in homes and podiums canopy. Craftsmen put months of effort to make the statues. The statues are then worshiped different maturities of up to 12 days before being submerged in water.
These photos were taken to see the Ganesh Chaturthi Festival in Mumbai Ganesh, one of the best places. About 10,000 statues of Ganesh are displayed at various locations in the city. Other Indian states also have far celebrate the holiday include Goa, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh.
