Experience the thrill of rafting ...

Goa has a different feel during the monsoon season, with the side to take a rather deserted look. Fun in the sun is not an option, so why not instead of fun in the rain? One of the best ways to do this is to internal and rafting head!

The rides are held founded by Southern River Adventures, a company by the Englishman John Pollard. John has over 20 years experience in rafting in the world and is known for rafting pioneer in South India. It has launched six new locations since 1999 to life, starting with the Dandeli river in Karnataka, and now lives in Aldona (within the country Goa) with his wife, who is an artist of Goa.

In Goa and Maharashtra, taking Rafting in five boats and four John qualified leaders, some of whom from Nepal (where the rapids are among the best in the world) for the season.

Rafting in Goa: Ideal for beginners

Rafting tours are Mhadei river in Goa in collaboration with Goa Tourism July to September. The river flows Mhadei Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghat mountains. Operations are in their third season in 2014 and had approximately 1,300 participants to date.

The river has Mhadei class 2-3 rapids, so it is also suitable for people who can not swim. Children over 12 can go. The journey begins in Valpoi Sattari Goa district, about an hour and a half inland (east) from the capital Panjim. There are two departures a day: at 10:30 clock to 14:30 clock, but there must be a minimum of six people.

The cost is Rs 1,500 per person.

Rafting in Maharashtra: Only Advanced

River Rafting Tilari move operations in Maharashtra, near the border of Goa in October and conclude that it in December.

This is perhaps the most technically challenging south rafting in the Himalayas, and sent through a gorge. Tilari the river rapids class 3-4, so it is limited to those who can swim well and are relatively fit. Although a lifeline provided the participants are still comfortable and float on water.

The journey begins at the Tilari river near base Dodamarg, excluding National Highway 17 (which runs from Mumbai to Goa). It takes about an hour and a half to get to the beaches of North Goa. There are two departures daily at 10:30 clock and 14:30

The cost is Rs 2,200 per person.
